Prizm is changing: here's what's new this October

Prizm has changed over the past few weeks, with one goal: each application should take you less time, without losing any accuracy. According to our users, an application takes 30 minutes to an hour without Prizm, and under a minute with it. Here's what's new, and what stays the same.

Packs: as many applications as you want

Until now, once your free applications were used up, you had to wait for them to top up. If you apply a lot, you can now get a pack:

  • 15 applications for $5.99
  • 30 applications for $10.99
  • 80 applications for $23.99

One application means your CV and cover letter tailored to one job ad, in Word and PDF. You pay once: no subscription, and no expiry date on what you've bought.

Applications are always used in the same order: first the included ones, then the ones you've earned, by inviting someone for example, and only then the ones you've bought. You never start on a pack while you still have free applications left.

Payment happens on Stripe's secure page, by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and Prizm never sees your card. If you haven't used any application from the pack, you can ask for a full refund within fourteen days of buying it.

Your included applications still top up, and the verdict is still free. The details are on the pricing page.

Prepare right away

Before, an application took two steps: you pasted the job ad, read the verdict, then started preparing your CV and cover letter.

When you already know you're applying, that second step isn't always needed. Tick Prepare right away when you paste the job ad: Prizm gives its verdict, then starts preparing without waiting for your click.

The verdict is still there if you want to read it. Preparing uses one application, and you review everything before any file is created. If you have no applications left, Prizm only gives its verdict.

Your CV title matches the job you're after

The title at the top of your CV now uses the job title from the ad. A recruiter sees at a glance that your CV answers their ad, and screening software finds the job it's looking for.

Prizm keeps the job itself and removes what the ad attaches to it for its own purposes, such as a gender mention or the contract type. An ad titled "Marketing Assistant (F/M/X) – Internship" gives the title "Marketing Assistant".

To see what this software actually looks at, read What screening software actually reads in your CV.

The job ad's words, in one click

While you review, Prizm shows you the words from the job ad that are missing from your CV. If one of them describes something you can really do, one click adds it to your skills, and Prizm shows your score going up in real time.

You choose: Prizm never adds these words on its own. A word you couldn't back up in an interview has no place in your CV. Using the job ad's own words in your CV, without cheating explains where the line is.

Since November 2, 2026: Prizm also adds, on its own, the tools, methods and fields your profile already proves, as ticked tags: one click removes one. A language, a certification, a degree, a length of experience or a personal quality is still yours to add. What's new in November explains it all.

A clearer space

Your applications, notifications, messages with us and earnings now come in pages. Even with dozens of applications, your list stays easy to read.

What doesn't change

  • The verdict is free, and still honest. If a job ad isn't worth applying to, Prizm tells you.
  • Nothing goes out without you. Prizm prepares your documents; you review them, edit them, and you're the one who sends them.
  • No fact is ever made up. A line that would bring in a number, a tool or a company that isn't in your documents is dropped, and your original line goes back in its place.
